



It is situated on a strip of land overlooking one of the many bodies of water that break up the city of Copenhagen. The restaurant building, seen here on the left, and the sunflowers in the middle distance either side of the path mark the area reserved for annual and experimental plantings.įounded by Chef René Redzepi, Noma is one of the world’s most innovative restaurants, known for its New Nordic cuisine. Symphyotrichum ‘Little Carlow’ flowers from late summer in the garden and provides autumn colour into November before the wintery, brown and gold hues and various seedheads dominate.
